How to deal with Negative

Proverbs 4:23 Guard your heart above all else,
for it determines the course of your life.

Life is part negative as you are all well aware of, whatever good we do, there is always something negative no matter how small it may be. But all positive and all negative comes from within us, from our hearts. The Bible says  “For from within, out of the heart of man, come evil thoughts, sexual immorality, theft, murder, adultery, coveting, wickedness, deceit, sensuality, envy, slander, pride, foolishness. All these evil things come from within, and they defile a person.” Mark7:21-23

So, as you can see negative is always present. But how to deal with negative thoughts, images in our heads, negative responses to negative things, bad news we receive in our lives, etc. How do we fight it?

The answer to this is written in the word of God, the Bible. No matter who you are, and what you are, and what you have done. The word of God has the power to change you from the inside out. And I am not talking here about plain theory. I am talking from my own experience, I was very negative myself, and I had problems with every solution. And I tend to worry a lot, I was the best in that. I use to say “what if this happens, and what if that happened, I better not try if this was to happen “. That is called the language of the “poor”. So whatever you have planned in your life, business-wise, promotions, marriage. Good things or bad, remember that God is always with you. God is always on your side, but more importantly, are you on his?

One of the things we have to do in our lives is a positive attitude and positive affirmations. Whatever negative comes in our lives we have to deal with it directly, at work if someone curses you or someone says you’re not good enough, or something worst than this or less. Remember a long time ago people with this kind of talking were cursing people, and if you get angry or believe in what is said to you, you are in big problem. But if you renounced and do not accept it in your life, you will be saved from huge problems. There is a story in the Bible when Peter rejected the Lord 3 times that he do not know Jesus, he was cursed automatically by God. When Jesus was resurrected, he ask Peter “do you love me ” 3 times. The reason behind this is to cancel the previous negative statement so that peter does not live under a curse. So be careful what and how you are talking to other people in your anger, and be careful what attitudes you are inviting in your life. What helped in my life was the word of God. I use to read a lot of “self-help” books. Those things are not enough, because nobody knows you better than the one who made you, and that is God. If your cell phone is broken, who do you call? Logically the company that created that phone. If some service is not good enough, who do you call? Well, the ones that did the service. With that being said, if your life is negative, and you are burned out, and you do not have hope in your life, then contact the one who made you. And that is exactly what I did. I surrender my life to Christ, I admit I did not have control over anything in my life. And I basically call the Lord to take control of my life. After that I was never the same, everything changed in me a new creation I was.

So do not be afraid to do the same, believe me, you will not lose. But gain, unspeakable joy and reassurance in your life!
