The word “health” refers to a state of complete emotional and physical well-being. … Health can be defined as physical, mental, and social well being, and as a resource for living a full life. It refers not only to the absence of disease, but the ability to recover and bounce back from illness and other problems.

Better health is central to human happiness and well-being. It also makes an important contribution to economic progress, as healthy populations live longer, are more productive, and save more. Many factors influence health status and a country’s ability to provide quality health services for its people.

Dimensions of   Wellness. There are five main aspects of personal health: physical, emotional, social, spiritual, and intellectual.

Health is the most important thing in our lives. Let’s face it, without it, we won’t be happy, and we won’t be wealthy in terms of it. It is more important than anything else. Material things come and go, but our health is number one out of everything else.

he common saying “health is wealth” “means very simple and simple. This means that our good health is our real wealth or money, which gives us good health and intuition and enables us to face all the challenges of life. Good health promotes good physical, mental and social health.

True wealth is an inner condition of being. A list of true wealth assets would likely include family, friends, education, talents, experience, connection to community, self-esteem, the ability to help others, and good health (with some luck and good sense).

Physical health :

In a person who experiences physical health, bodily functions are working at peak performance, due not only to a lack of disease, but also to regular exercise, balanced nutrition, and adequate rest. We receive treatment, when necessary, to maintain the balance.

Physical well being involves pursuing a healthful lifestyle to decrease the risk of disease. Maintaining physical fitness, for example, can protect and develop the endurance of a person’s breathing and heart function, muscular strength, flexibility, and body composition.Physical health and well-being also help reduce the risk of an injury or health issue. Examples include minimizing hazards in the workplace, practicing safe sex, practicing good hygiene, or avoiding the use of tobacco, alcohol, or illegal drugs.

Mental health :

Mental health refers to a person’s emotional, social, and psychological well being. Mental health is as important as physical health to a full, active lifestyle.

It is harder to define mental health than physical health, because, in many cases, diagnosis depends on the individual’s perception of their experience. With improvements in testing, however, some signs of some types of mental illness are now becoming “visible” in CT scans and genetic testing.

Mental health is not only the absence of depression, anxiety, or another disorder.

It also depends on the ability to:

    Enjoy life

    Bounce back after difficult experiences

    Achieve balance

    Adapt to adversity

    Feel safe and secure

    Achieve your potential

My Experience : In my 30 years of age, just now i come to conclusion that health and well being is everything that human need. After i seriously risk my health on my work full of stress , when i realized i have blood pressure 180/90 and i was drinking pills for blood pressure, for the hearth and anti stress pills, in one moment i stop all that bothers me in life, i remove all that was giving me headache , anxiety attacks , over worrying, over thinking, “friends” that only wanted to listen to my problems…etc. I was working like that for over a year and every day i felt worst, the point is, nothing will change if YOU don’t change. And so i did, over night i stop all bad habits, i trow them right trough window And i devoted myself only to sport, healthy food, good relationship, and reading books. I change my life basically over night, it took me 6 months to recover from everything, but i stop all the bad things in one moment , and if i can do it, then you can do it. Health in the greatest wealth that one can ever have, for sure maybe you have more expensive car or bigger house or something, but that don’t mean anything if you are the richest man in the hospital , or you are richest man in the grave. So take your life decisions into your hands and be responsible for it, don’t blame someone else for your failures, DON’T COMPLAIN AND NEVER EXPLAIN. It is nice to think that any moment now you can change your life, take the inventory of your life and start working on yourself.
